A BREEDING
IN THE SHELTER OF CHINON FORTRESS

Our cellars under the fortress of Chinon are a major asset for an optimal breeding. Our mono-parcellaires improve slowly in half-muids, at a constant temperature of 12 ° C and at high hygrometry. In these conditions, our wines are refined and stabilize naturally. The winemaking techniques are ancestral but use all the modernity that allows to preserve the best potential of grapes (receipt of the harvest by gravity and limitation to the maximum oenological inputs).

It is in this beautiful and historic place that we offer you the tasting of our best wines. You can admire these cellars dug in the 12th century to build the castle of Chinon. Two extraction wells connect them directly to the fortress of Chinon which is just above.

This place is also very conducive to the breeding of our Chinon. In barrels or bottles, it slowly improves with calm, with constant temperature (12 degree) and good hygrometry.
